In addition to our ongoing Afternoon Outdoor Explorers program, We have upcoming workshops and occasional specialized courses. We offer outdoor studies programs which follow the seasons and essential outdoor skills along the way, Jr. Naturalist/STEM & Art courses, as well recreation courses in which kids learn how to level up their skills in addition to caring for their equipment and gear. While some courses are more focused than others, the natural sciences and outdoor safety skills flow through through everything we do along with our three rules for life: Safety, Kindness, and Respect.

Afternoon Outdoor Explorers

It's never too early to learn backcountry skills that can save a life. This course teaches kids the fundamentals to being safe in Alaska's great outdoors. All of our outdoor studies programs meet kids at their level and utilize active, hands-on learning through play in woods. Daily Bookings Available Monday - Friday, 2:30 - 5 pm $28/day ages 5-12
