We are happy to announce that we are extending the summer camp season through to the end of August, right up to the beginning of our Nature School Programs. We have had a beautiful summer; with only three weeks left, we can’t wait to share the rest of it with our amazing campers!
As we go through the last few weeks of summer camp, we are going to start transitioning into our nature school curriculum – reading books, writing stories, working on math that either you or your school provides – beginning to get the kids back into a mindset of school yet connecting these academic subjects to real-world, hands-on experiential learning … in the woods!

We are dividing each age group (our three distinct adventure clubs, see below) into two sign-up groups – group A and group B. This keeps our groups static all week. Our groups don’t mix together. This, coupled with our COVID-19 Mitigation plan and policies, will help us stay as safe as possible while also getting your kiddo(s) out into Alaska’s great wild beauty, away from screens, and developing new friendships that will last a lifetime.
Both the YOEC and JOEC have pick-up and drop-off at the same location every day, while the AYHC meets at Prospect heights and Glen Alps trail head over the course of the week. See our Calendars page for detailed times and locations on your child’s particular club calendar. Go to our forms and info page for any forms, links, and info you may need as your family gets into the woods with us.
